How to use Gmail

1 Open the Settings menu on your Android.  You'll find the Settings app in your Apps list. If you're using an iPhone or iPad, you can change your password using the Google My Account website. 2 Scroll down to the  Personal  section. 3 Tap  Google services . If you're using a Samsung device, tap Applications in the Settings menu, scroll to the bottom of the list, then tap Google in the "Google settings" section. If you're having difficulty finding the Google Services menu, you can use the Google My Account website instead to do the same thing. 4 Tap  Sign-in & security . 5 Tap  Password . 6 Type your current password.  If you don't remember your current password, you can reset it and make a new one. 7 Type a new password.  To make a strong password, include letters, numbers, and symbols. Avoid using complete dictionary words, and don't use any personal information such as pet names or birthdays.

Strong passwords contain letters, numbers, and symbols, and they do not contain any dictionary words or information that can be easily guessed. 9 Type the password again

Blind carbon copy   (abbreviated   Bcc: ) allows the sender of a message to conceal the person entered in the Bcc: field from the other recipients. This concept originally applied to paper correspondence and now also applies to   email . Recall an email with Undo Send If you turn "Undo Send" on, you can retract a message right after you sent it. First, turn on Undo Send On your computer, open  Gmail . In the top right, click Settings      Settings . In the "Undo Send" section, check the box next to "Enable Undo Send." In the "Send cancellation period" section, set the amount of time you want to decide if you want to unsend an email. At the bottom of the page, click  Save Changes . Undo sending your message After you turn on Undo Send, you can cancel sending an email. After you send a message, you'll see the message "Your message has been sent" and the option to Undo or View message. Click  Undo .

Write an email Open   Gmail . In the top left, click    Compose . In the "To" field, add recipients. If you want, you can also add recipients in the "cc" and "bcc" fields. Add a subject. Write your message. At the bottom of the page, click   Send .
